As we lay the groundwork for our initiatives, we’re committed to creating meaningful opportunities for those who need it most—women-owned businesses, veterans, re-entry candidates, and other underserved communities. Our vision is bold, but we believe that with the support of our community and partners, we can make a lasting difference.
Our Core Initiatives
Workforce Development Through CDL Training and our Box Truck Bootcamp
We’re dedicated to providing high-demand job skills through our upcoming CDL school and Box Truck Bootcamp. This program will be open to women, veterans, re-entry participants, and community members looking to build sustainable careers in the trucking industry. By partnering with local workforce development organizations, we create a pathway to economic independence through entrepreneurship.
Grant and Funding Programs for Emerging Entrepreneurs
We’re launching funding initiatives specifically for women-owned businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs, offering small grants and loans to support early-stage growth. These funds will help with essential startup costs, from equipment purchases to foundational business expenses.
Creating Community Hubs with Purpose
We’re planning spaces that serve as resources and revenue-generating opportunities for The Couvent Collective’s future programming. Our vision includes a community coffee shop, Amazon lockers, post office boxes, and other practical services that support our operations while creating value for our neighborhoods.
